Note the imposing effect of high parapets and projecting party walls.
Turn left along Boyce Street passing a pair of huge terraces, Clifton and Linnbrae(1886). Each is crowned with a high parapet including the name plaque of the house, surmounted by a further balustrade with a cast iron cresting. The arches above the ground floor windows have especially elaborate mouldings. Boyce Street contains many large terraces and a long row of Victorian villas opposite.
